Publication guidelines for brokers
What to prepare for a broker profile, programme or event, how editorial review works and how to keep a published record accurate.
Start with a short expression of interest
The EOI form asks for your name, business email, organisation, official website and pilot objective. You do not need to prepare a full publication pack to enquire.
FXAgenda reviews the fit and discusses the proposed scope by email. After approval, we agree the start date and explain how to provide materials. The private partner portal is available only to approved contacts with active access.
The current pilot: 60 days from agreed activation, limited to five approved brokers. One profile, one programme and up to four reviewed events or resources across the entire pilot. No payment details or automatic renewal. See the free pilot charter.
Prepare a clear, sourced publication pack
Use concise descriptions and direct official URLs. State the relevant market, language and audience wherever these affect availability or terms.
Broker profile
- Public brand name, official website and a short factual description.
- The entity and market relevant to the proposed programme, where applicable.
- A logo and other brand assets you are authorised to share.
- A business contact who can confirm details and request updates.
Business programme
- Programme name, collaboration type and intended participants.
- Markets, languages, eligibility requirements and exclusions.
- Documented terms, any applicable fees or obligations, and the official application route.
- Effective dates or an explicit statement that a date is not yet confirmed.
Event or webinar
- Title, organiser, topic and intended audience.
- Start and end date, time zone, online format or venue.
- Speaker names and roles, when confirmed for public release.
- Official registration link, attendance conditions and whether a fee applies.
Resource or company update
- Title, summary, original publication date and source URL.
- Relevant broker or programme and why the item belongs in its timeline.
- A recording or reusable resource link, if publicly available.
- Access restrictions, expiry dates or other limitations readers should know.
Mark missing or provisional information clearly. Do not substitute estimates for confirmed terms. If a registration page is not yet live, say so.
Sources, permissions and disclosures
Provide primary sources that support each material claim. A brochure or promotional statement alone may not establish eligibility, regulatory status or the scope of an offer. Distinguish the broker’s brand from its legal entities.
Only share text, images and logos you have the right to provide for publication. Identify any sponsorship or commercial relationship relevant to the proposed item. Sample profiles must not be presented as evidence of an active partnership.
Do not send client lists, account statements, identity documents, passwords or trading credentials. Keep confidential commercial details out of the public description; first ask FXAgenda whether additional information is needed.
From submission to publication
- Submit materials
Use the channel agreed with FXAgenda. - Editorial review
We check sources, clarity and suitability. - Resolve questions
Supply missing details or corrections. - Publication decision
Approved content can be published.
We may request clarification, changes or additional sources, or decline an item. Submission and pilot participation do not guarantee publication, favourable coverage, traffic or enquiry volumes. We do not promise a publication deadline before reviewing the materials.
The review is an editorial process, not regulatory approval or an endorsement of a broker. Read our editorial policy.
Keep your records current
If a date, location, eligibility condition, source link or programme status changes, send the published FXAgenda URL, the corrected details, the effective date and the supporting source. Report cancellations and postponements promptly.
Updates require review; a request does not automatically change a live page. An ended event can remain as a clearly identified historical record. Tell us if a source or media asset becomes unavailable or you discover a rights issue.
Use the corrections channel for published information. Approved partners can send questions and improvement requests through private partner feedback. Without portal access, contact info@fxagenda.com.
